Mary Goodenow is a Nationally Certified Educational Diagnostician, Registered Professional Educational Diagnostician, Reading/Learning Disability Specialist, and classroom teacher with Advanced Certification in Brain Training. She has over 30 years’ experience working with children and adults in public schools, charter schools, and private practice. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, college students, and adults in the areas of ADHD, Dyslexia, Learning Disabilities, Auditory and Visual Processing Disorders, and all academic and work-related challenges.
Working with children who had learning disabilities while in college marked the beginning of Mary's journey with special needs children. Motivated by her newly discovered passion, she obtained two Special Education certificates along with her Elementary Education degree. After graduation, she took a job in Duncanville ISD as a Special Education teacher where she worked with 6th – 8th grade Resource students. During her time in Duncanville, she pursued her Master of Education degree earning Professional Reading Specialist and Professional Educational Diagnostician certifications.
